Why are you conducting this recall?
We are taking this precautionary measure as part of our ongoing commitment to customer safety and satisfaction. Even though there have been no injuries, in an abundance of caution, we are conducting the recall because we have received a few reports of batteries sparking or igniting, especially when stored or used improperly.
How can I tell if my product is affected by the recall?
If your unit was purchased between December 2019 and January 2021 with a brown battery – it is affected by this recall.
How can I take advantage of the recall?
Call our toll free number at 1-800-394-8802 and we will ship you a new battery and battery tray to use with your unit.
What is the problem with my product?
We have received a few reports of batteries sparking or igniting, especially when stored or used improperly. While there have been no injuries, we are recalling the product in an abundance of caution.
My product appears to be operating okay. Can I continue to use it?
No. Even though your product appears to be safe, you
should immediately stop using the product, remove and dispose of the original battery and tray, and participate in the recall by calling us to obtain your replacement parts.
How long will it take for me to receive the replacement parts?
Please allow 1-2 weeks from the date you contacted us. We apologize for any inconvenience, and assure you we are working as quickly as possible to get you the replacement parts for your product.

Visit www.call2recycle.org for safe and convenient options for battery disposal.
Does the recall effect both the 1 and 2 gallon units?
Yes, no matter which size product you bought, the recall effects all units with the brown battery.
