Why are you conducting this recall?
We are taking this precautionary measure as part of our ongoing commitment to customer safety and satisfaction. Even though there have been no injuries, in an abundance of caution, we are conducting the recall because we have received a few reports of batteries sparking or igniting, especially when stored or used improperly.

If your unit was purchased between December 2019 and January 2021 with a brown battery – it is affected by this recall.
How can I take advantage of the recall?
Call our toll free number at 1-800-394-8802 and we will ship you a new battery and battery tray to use with your unit.
What is the problem with my product?
We have received a few reports of batteries sparking or igniting, especially when stored or used improperly. While there have been no injuries, we are recalling the product in an abundance of caution.
My product appears to be operating okay. Can I continue to use it?
No. Even though your product appears to be safe, you should immediately stop using the product, remove and dispose of the original battery and tray, and participate in the recall by calling us to obtain your replacement parts.
How long will it take for me to receive the replacement parts?
Please allow 1-2 weeks from the date you contacted us. We apologize for any inconvenience, and assure you we are working as quickly as possible to get you the replacement parts for your product.
What is the remedy and what should I do now?
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled battery-powered sprayers, remove the battery tray, and look for a brown battery. If the battery is brown, consumers should remove the battery and tray and dispose of them in accordance with local laws for disposal of lithium-ion batteries, and contact HD Hudson for a free replacement battery and tray. Always follow proper battery use and storage procedures as listed in the instructions.
